Giulia was born and raised in Rome, Italy. At age 18, her heart brought her to Washington, DC, and her passion led her to the food industry. Giulia crafted tiny sugar-paste flowers and baked massive multi-tiered wedding cakes at Café Milano for two years. Before that, she worked in the kitchen and cafeteria of the Italian Embassy. Her most recent work experience helped Giulia discover a love of wine and her skill at organizing tastings and events. She’s currently studying to become a WSET-certified sommelier.
